Parents as Teachers is designed to assist ALL FAMILIES in Marion County with children from birth to age three in becoming their children's first teachers. Serving families USD 397, USD 398, USD 408, USD 410, and USD 411.

Meet The Educators
Brandi Hein- Educator
Brandi has been with PAT since November 2015. Brandi received a Bachelor's of Science in Education Degree from Baker University. She has 9 years of elementary experience. She also ran a home daycare for 7 years. In her free time, Brandi likes spending time with her husband and their four children. They enjoy reading, sports, camping, movies, the zoo, and relaxing together. "I feel so honored to be able to be a part of the lives of families all over Marion County. Celebrating and experiencing with them all the ups and downs of parenting is a joy like no other!"
Brandi has been with PAT since November 2015. Brandi received a Bachelor's of Science in Education Degree from Baker University. She has 9 years of elementary experience. She also ran a home daycare for 7 years. In her free time, Brandi likes spending time with her husband and their four children. They enjoy reading, sports, camping, movies, the zoo, and relaxing together. "I feel so honored to be able to be a part of the lives of families all over Marion County. Celebrating and experiencing with them all the ups and downs of parenting is a joy like no other!"
Becky Suderman- Coordinator & Educator
Becky has been with Marion County PAT since April 2008. She graduated from Kansas State University with a B.S. in Elementary Education with an emphasis on Family Studies. She was a classroom teacher for 7 years and then decided to become a stay-at home mommy after the birth of her second child. "I cannot think of anything I love more than working with children and their parents! It is such a joy and privilege to watch them grow and change!"

Patty Traxson- Educator
Patty has been with Marion County PAT since August 2013. She graduated from KSU with a B.S. in Family and Child Development. Besides raising her three children, Patty has been employed as a Special Education Para-educator and an Elementary School Library Aide for the last 21 years. She recently moved to Peabody and is in close proximity to her three children and their families. She likes to spend time with her family, working on her house projects, but loves getting to spend time with her grandson.
